Arikana Chihombori-Quao is a graduate of Fisk University and Meharry Medical College. She is a medical doctor, the founder and CEO of Bell Family Medical Centres in the US. She is from Chivhu village in Zimbabwe before travelled to America in 1977. She holds a bachelor’s degree in General Chemistry,
a master degree in Organic Chemistry and a Doctor of Medicine degree and she practiced medicine for 29 years in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
She served as the Chair of the Africa Union-African Diaspora Health Initiative (AU-ADHI). She worked so hard to ensure there are positive changes in political and social life in Africa continents by mobilizing Africans in the Diaspora health professionals to support Africa as a whole to get out of healthcare crisis. She also used this position to encourage many Africans and friends of Africa to participate in developing Africa continents. She is a public speaker, educator, diplomat and an entrepreneur.
